Encore Pride BRG is proud to be supporting MONSTER at Midsumma Festival

Midsumma Festival is Melbourne’s premier festival of LGBTQIA+ arts, culture and celebration, taking place annually in January. As part of this year’s festival, Encore is supporting MONSTER, a cabaret from transgender artist Florian Wilde.

MONSTER is a hilarious ride following the life of a transgender man grappling with society’s fear of the unknown. Despite transphobic headlines and Nazis on parliament steps, Florian is hell-bent on living a proud, fabulous, and undeniably human life.

For this production, Encore has provided equipment and technical support, assisting a group of emerging creatives and technicians to reach Encore’s five-star production standard while proving as an educational and skill development opportunity for LGBTQIA+ technicians in Melbourne.
